Marlow Kornegay, Sr., 73, of Camp Jubilee Road, died Sunday afternoon, January 20, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 p..m. Tuesday, January 22, at Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Geoffrey A. Carter, and followed by visitation. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, at Pineview Cemetery.

Mr. Kornegay, son of the late Lamont and Patty Jones Kornegay, was a retired truckdriver.

He is survived by his wife, Rosliane Casteen Pate Kornegay; a daughter, Sandra L. Sutton and husband, Victor, of Faison; two sons, Marlow Kornegay, Jr. and Robert Douglas Kornegay, both of Seven Springs; a step-son, Donnie Pate and wife, Elsie, of Warsaw; two step-daughters, Clara Smith and fiancé, Brandon Potter, of Kenansville, and Pamela Pate of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Randy Kornegay and wife, Jessica, Adam Williams, Andrea Fisher and husband, Michael, Gary Pate, Travis Sutton, Samantha Sutton, and Russell D. Kornegay; great-grandchildren, Rusty, Rylan, and Emmie Kornegay, Kayle Sadburry, and Alexis Fisher.

A grandson, Ryan D. Kornegay, preceded him in death.
