Martin A. Cordova, Jr. (Marty) age 22 of Peoria, AZ was granted his Angel Wings on August 22, 2012, following a three year battle with Colon Cancer. He possessed strength, perseverance, the ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He enjoyed music, movies, board games, video games, the beach and loved Disneyland. He loved the colors green and blue, listening to the sounds of children and especially laughter which would make him smile and sigh with contentment. With Marty's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him every day, especially his winning smile, he will always remain forever in our hearts. Through his teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be his parents. Marty is survived by his loving mother and stepfather, Brenda Bejarano Ramirez and Robert Ramirez, father and stepmom, Martin Sr and Cynthia Cordova, sister Camilla Cordova, brother Andy Cordova, half siblings, Tristan and Jessica, step siblings, Adena, Ashley and Sabas, nephew, Elijah, Grandparents, Dimas and Roxanne Bejarano, Esther Armenta, Grace Ramirez, Great Grandmother, Minnie DiCarlo, and many loving Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and friends that all had a special place in his heart. Marty also leaves behind a wonderful care team that provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. All of these special people, too numerous to mention provided Marty with love and dignity in his life and also in his death.
