Minette Schwalbe, 88, of Palm City, Florida, died, February 4, 2010 at Mayview Convalescent Center, Raleigh, North Carolina.
Born in Brooklyn, New York she had been a resident of the Palm City for 20 years coming from Syosset, New York.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
Survivors include, daughters, Susan Douglas of Raleigh, Patti Schwalbe of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Joan Zeltman and her husband Tony of Raleigh, Linda Davis and her husband Cliff of Woodstock, Connecticut, Minette “Mindy” Tynan and her husband Rich of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Ginna Ludlam and her husband Al of West Babylon, New York and Laura Bisson and her husband Ed of North Babylon, New York, a son Charles William “Billy” Schwalbe Jr. and his wife Diane of Commack, NY; a sister Maggie Boag of Seattle, Washington and thirteen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Schwalbe Sr., a daughter Jill Mastrocco; seven sisters and one brother.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00PM on February 8, 2010 at Forest Hills Funeral Home – Palm City Chapel with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on February 9, 2010 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church followed be entombment in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
