Paul Marvin Henderson, 86 of Rocky Mount joined his loving wife Patricia to eternal life on January 29 2013. Born in 1926 in Halifax County he was the eldest son of the late John L. Henderson and the late Netti Viverett Henderson. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia B. Henderson, sister Billie and brother Guy.
Paul was a veteran of World War II serving our country in the United States Army and honorably discharged in 1946. Paul then went on to a career of being a meat cutter/butcher for A&P Supermarkets and ended his career with K&W Cafeteria due to an illness.
Surviving family members include his brothers John (Big John) Henderson of Weldon NC.,Benjamin (Doc) Henderson and wife Pat of Littleton NC. Daughters, Paula H. Rouse and husband Tom of Nashville NC., Lynn Farmer and fiancé Donald Chocklett of Zebulon. Grandchildren, Robert Taylor III of Rocky Mount NC., Lindsay Farmer of Cary NC., Tommy Rouse of Nashville NC. Multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home on January 30th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
A grave side service and internment will be held the following day at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum at 11am.
The family of Paul wish to express their greatest appreciation to the care givers of Kindred Healthcare of Rocky Mount. They were his extended family for the past 13 years. There love and care was endless.
