Mr. Roger D. Cheatham, age 55, of Hillview returned to his Heavenly Father on February 8, 2013. Mr. Cheatham was an engineer for Insight Communications and Past Master of Zoneton Masonic Lodge #964. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Vernon, Sr. and Ann Cheatham. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Emma Cheatham; children, Barret (Fallon), Samantha and Sabrina Carlisle; granddaughter, Kira Bright; brothers, Kenny (Joyce) and Vernon, Jr. (Marlana) Cheatham; and sister, Kathy McLain (Gary).
Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 2-8 pm and Tuesday from 10 am until time of service at Schoppenhorst. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association.
