Scott’s life was unexpectedly taken due to complications from meningitis at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Scott was a Lincoln High School graduate. He was a college business major and the general manager at Krispy Kreme East. He volunteered at Walton Special Center working with children with special needs and participated in the annual fundraisers. He enjoyed traveling and just returned from a trip to Italy. He also enjoyed racing, movies, the beach and technology. He was an amazing young man with an infectious smile. Scott’s enthusiasm for life, generosity, humor and kindness will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Although his life was not long in years he lived it like he drove his car, fast and furious!
Scott is survived by his parents Debbie and Mike; his sister Annelise; grandparents James Petzinger and the late Miriam Petzinger; Gerda and Bob Barbieri; aunts and uncles Joanne and Steve Claas (Kevin); Marian and Pete Foppiano (Michelle and Jennifer); Darlene Barbieri (Jake); Lorie and Richard Kent (Matt, Amy, Jeff and Richard); David Petzinger; Beth and Duke Swenson (Andrew and Ashley); Mary Alice and Marc Hartley (Joe); Susana and Carolina Kent and Puddy.
Visitation for Scott will be Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Dr., Stockton, CA from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Rosary will be held at Shoreline Chapel on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Presentation, 1515 W. Benjamin Holt Drive, Stockton, CA on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
Committal will be private at the San Joaquin Catholic Mausoleum
In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott’s memory may be directed to the Friends of Walton Booster Club, 4131 N. Crown Avenue, Stockton, CA 95207
