Burlington – Shelby Naylor, 72, of Burlington, died on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Hospice Home. She was born in Alamance County to the late Herbert Lee and Bertha Qualls Wheeler and was married to the late Huey "Sam" William Naylor. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and retired from Collins and Aikman in Graham. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Hill and David Michalski of Burlington, Rita and Doug Faulkner of Graham; son, James Hill of Burlington; significant other, Walter Strader; granddaughters, Ashley Hill and Laura Somers; great granddaughter, Aaliyah Riley; brother, Ernest Lee Wheeler of Burlington and nieces, Emily Freeman and Elizabeth Overman. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 6, 2009 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Rainey Qualls, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
