COLUMBIA Funeral service for Linda "Sue" Turner, 66, will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 until noon prior to the service.
Mrs. Turner died Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Born in Camden, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Edward M. and Ruby Reynolds Sill. Mrs. Turner was an interior decorator, a dental hygienist, a real estate agent and a well-known aesthetician. She was a member of the S.C. Shag Club; she enjoyed the beach and her dog, "Febbie"; she loved her grandchildren and will be remembered as a kind-hearted and helping individual. Mrs. Turner was known for being a "Christian" woman.
Surviving are her sons, Louis "Moby" Turner, David "Toby" Turner, both of Columbia; sister, Patricia (Bill) Roof of Blythewood; brother, John (Cile) of Pinehurst, N.C., sister-in-law, Linda Sill, of Columbia; brother, Jerry B. (Jean) Leach of Cheraw, S.C.; grandson, Glenn Turner, of Columbia; granddaughter, Courtney Turner of Columbia; numerous nieces and nephews and former spouse, Louis P. Turner Jr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Edward G. Sill.
