Wade Berlin Craff, age 78, of Birmingham died Wednesday February 13, 2013 at home.

Wade was born May 9, 1934 in Fairfield the son of Fred C. and Nellie Loving Craff.

He grew up in the Lockridge area. He married Nancy Ann Ramsey at the Birmingham United Methodist Church. She preceded him in death, November 14, 2012.

Wade worked at Rock Island Railroad for 13 years. He retired from Falco in 1996. Until a year ago, he had his own lawn mower business.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Delbert, Everett, and George Craff; 1 sister: Wanda Kahl; 2 step brothers; and 1 son: Timothy.

Surviving are his 2 sons: Joseph and wife Leia Craff of Fairfield; Jeffery and wife Justine Craff of Stockport; and 4 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be Saturday 10:00 a.m. at the Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham with Pastor Larry Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham.

Memorials may be made to the Birmingham Fire Department or to the family.

The Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham is assisting the family with arrangements.
