William Patrick Conway, age 71, of Bushnell, Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 in the Brooksville Regional Hospital, Brooksville, Florida. He was the husband of Patricia (Martin) Conway for 49 years.
Born in Springfield, MA, he was a son of the late William L. and Mary Patricia (Cosgriff) Conway. Prior to his retirement, he was an Industrial Engineer for Pratt & Whitney for 35 years. He was of the Catholic Faith. He also served as the North East Area vice President of the Family Motor Coach Association. He loved sports, especially the Yankees and the Giants, and enjoyed collecting sports trading cards. He and Patricia moved to Bushnell in 2008 from East Granby, CT.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Patricia and daughter, Christine Pilbin (Walter) of Terryville, CT and son, William P. Conway of CT. He is the proud grandfather of three, Victorya, Christopher, and Jordan Pilbin. He is survived by a sisters; Mary P. Hurley of Springfield, MA; Marylou Donahue of East Long Meadow, MA; Patty Fitzhenry of Keene, NH and a brother, James Conway of Pittsburgh, PA.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, 504 E. Jefferson Street, Brooksville, FL 34601 with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Association, Heart Association, and Kidney Foundation.
