Born September 24, 1939 in Tanglewood, Texas and went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2013 in Crandall, Texas.
Preceded in death by her parents Johnnie and Florence Bishop, brothers Jack, Johnny, Richard and Willie Bishop, sisters Velma Foster and Thelma Malone.
Survived by her loving husband of 45 years Morris Allen, son Lynn Elder, son Michael Elder, daughter Ivey Shing, son Harvey Elder, daughter Lisa Allen and daughter Shelby Elder, 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends including Dora Jones.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday January 21, 2013 at Roselawn. Funeral Services will be 10 AM Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Monday January 28, 2013 at DFW National Cemetery. Lane C
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army in memory of Zelma Allen.
